Being able to use the fourth valve increases the possibilities available to you, so there is no reason not to use it.
Note: Only the most commonly used fingerings are listed here, in order of preference.
For the third valve, played with the right ring finger, there will be a number three. Sheet Music: Santa Wants a Tuba for Christmas. Red (filled) circles indicate valves that are to be depressed.
