Apple Cobbler Dump Cake. Spread both cans of apple pie filling onto the bottom of your prepared dish. Evenly distribute the dry cake mix over top.
Pour melted butter over top, tilting pan to cover as much of the top with butter as possible. Dump the canned apples into the baking dish and spread out. In a medium sized bowl, mix together apple pie filling, cinnamon and nutmeg.
It's wonderful served hot with ice cream, Cool Whip, or whipped cream.
Add the cake mix to a large bowl.
Top with layer of pecans, then sprinkle dry cake mix over apples. Pour melted butter over the top of the dry cake mix, then sprinkle chopped pecans on top. Top with dry cake mix; gently shake pan to distribute evenly.
